Research clearly illustrates that you must choose a  cancer-fighting or preventative diet that is low sugar/carbohydrate.

Cancer cells love sugar! That is why refined carbohydrates like white sugar, white flour, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) and soft drinks are extremely dangerous for anyone trying to prevent or reverse cancer. Sugar essentially feeds tumors and encourages cancer growth.

Cane sugar, beet sugar and corn syrup, among others, and refined flours, which are pure starch, are cheap and used in copious amounts in our food supply, contributing mightily to our excessive intakes — and that is NOT good.  The facts are this:  we have been living — and dying,– on a diet of unintended consequences, and  left drowning in a roiling sea of obesity, diabetes and cancer.

Remember that your leafy greens and other vegetables will provide you with all the carbs you need while allowing them to be digested in ways that avoid the blood insulin and sugar spikes which fuel cancer growth, inflammation and an immobilized immune system. Don’t sabotage all your good efforts because you didn’t factor this in. I applaud your efforts to take your power back from cancer (and all chronic illness).
